Timetable

 

Day 1 – Thurs 21st July 2022 – Haslington to Ashley – 54 miles – 3000 ft of ascent

 

8.30 am         Meet at 163 Crewe Road, Haslington, CW1 5RL

9.00 am         Depart Haslington

11.00 am       Coffee at Glebe Farm, Peel Lane, Astbury CW12 4RQ (15 miles)

12.30 pm       Lunch at Tunnicliffe Tea House, Sutton, SK11 0EB (25 miles)

3.00 pm         Tea at Henry’s café, Prestbury, SK10 4DG (40 miles)

5.00 pm         Finish at The Greyhound, Ashley WA15 0QR

 

Day 2 – Thurs 11th August – Ashley to Chester - 63 miles - 1752 ft of ascent

 

8.30 am         Meet at The Greyhound, Ashley WA15 0QR

9.00 am         Depart Ashley

11.00 am       Coffee at Comberbach Post Office, 12 Senna Lane, Comberbach CW9 6BQ

                    (13 miles)

12.30 am       Lunch at Delamere Station café, CW8 2HZ (25 miles)

3.00 pm         Tea at Parkgate Ice Cream Shop, CH64 6SA (45 miles)

5.00 pm         Finish at Little Roodee car park, Chester CH1 1SL

 

Day 3 – Tues 25th August – Chester to Haslington - 66 miles – 2377 ft of ascent

 

8.30 am         Meet at the Little Roodee car park, Chester, CH1 1SL

9.00 am         Depart Chester

11.00 am       Coffee at the Cheshire Workshops, Higher Burwardsley, Tattenhall CH3 9PF

                    (17 miles) (Closed Monday and Tuesday)

1.00 pm         Lunch at The Old Fire Station café, Malpas SY14 8NR (35 mls)

3.00 pm         Tea at The Tea Room at No 11, Audlem CW3 0AH (50 miles)

5.00 pm         Finish at 163 Crewe Road, Haslington

Bicycle (serviced before you start)

Cycle helmet

Spare inner tubes, puncture repair outfit, pump to fit your inner tube valves

Water container in holder on your bike

Sunglasses and sun cream

Camera to record your achievement

GPS, charging lead and power bank

GPX file of Cheshire Cycleway route loaded onto your GPS

Simple First Aid Kit

(Equipment will need to be carried in a small rucksack or pannier so the golden rule is Keep the Weight to a Minimum.)
