Sally Ann who enjoys St Matthew's streamed service has chosen…

Lord of the Dance
Thanks Sally Ann this is a lovely hymn that begins with God's creation and speaks of the life, death and resurrection of Jesus. It is sung in schools and is very popular for weddings as well as Sunday worship. The joy lies not just in the tune, but in the life of dance and the promise that Jesus is with us and leads us, always.

I have chosen something a little different …

Put Out the Fire from Greater Vision.

It’s a Southern Gospel song, that has a wonderful message and an upbeat tune that is just infectious and I cannot help but tap my foot along and smile. Listening to those amazing words of hope, telling us the Good News of Jesus as our Saviour.

Anything that can make you feel good and tell of the hope that is Jesus, in my mind is a good thing!

God bless

Glenys first heard it about 12 years ago and finds the lyrics and the music so uplifting, even when she doesn't feel like praising God. She quotes "Praise brings God into the scene. Praise opens the gates of Heaven and the doors of blessings. Praise dissipates worry and dilutes concerns and fear. Praise tarnishes sadness and magnifies goodness.
Glenys particularly likes this YouTube clip because it includes the lyrics and the joyful faces of the worshippers
